Who Are Beetham Nurseries?

Beetham Nurseries is a well-established, local garden centre based in Cumbria.

They are a family run business, which has developed from a traditional garden centre and growing nursery to now welcome visitors to their extensive gift shop, Garden Café and restaurant, as well as the vast number of practical workshops and events they host and deliver every year.

More recently, due to the COVID-19 lockdown, they have also developed an online shop for customers to purchase garden supplies and gifts.

Once we had identified who Beetham Nurseries’ target audience was, we made recommendations on which marketing channels were going to generate to best results for the available budget.

We recommended a combined strategy that included Google Ads, Social Media Ads and Search Engine Optimisation, wrapped up with regular monthly meetings, updates and an end of month summary report.


We used Google Ads to increase brand awareness and drive visitors proactively searching within a local catchment area for popular search terms relating to their business.


We used Social Media Ads to increase awareness for events and services offered at Beetham Nurseries, as these wouldn’t typically be known about and to retarget existing customers.


We used the keyword data from the Google Ads campaign to influence our Search Engine Optimisation strategy.
